This multiplication escape room activity is a great way to increase student engagement and to promote collaborative learning. This activity is the perfect way to culminate your 4th grade multiplication unit.

Here’s what’s included in the multiplication escape room:

Multiplication Content

Clue 1-Students match multiplicative comparison statements.
Clue 2-Students find the factor pairs of the four numbers on their recording sheet.
Clue 3-Students solve multi-digit multiplication problems. Students will use the hieroglyphic decoder to determine the mystery message.
Clue 4-Students complete the sieve of Eratosthenes (finding prime numbers) and use that information to find the next clue.

This multiplication escape room can be used with Breakout Edu boxes or with your own boxes and locks. If you do not have boxes and locks, you may use the digital version, where students submit their answers on Google Forms.
