I like to start slow with one or two activities at a time. Typically activities like reading that are seated and quiet. Then, I gradually add in additional activities. How many I incorporate depends on my class size and their interests. As soon as you introduce something new, everyone will want to do the new thing. However, as soon as the novelty wears off things tend to settle down.

Have a question….what do you do about those kiddos that don’t come in until 8:00 or right before announcements and don’t get to any of these activities?? Do they just miss out?
