These holidays around the world close reading passages and comprehension questions help students dig deeper into informational reading.

In this holidays around the world resource, there are ten nonfiction reading passages based on ten cultures/nations’ holiday celebrations. Since we all have students reading on many different reading levels, each passage is written on three different reading levels.

There are also three sets of questions for each set of holidays around the world passages. The first set of questions are text dependent questions that require students to cite evidence in the text, and the second set of questions require students to analyze the text structure and word choice of the passage. The third set of questions have students respond to a question that promotes high order thinking.

Save by purchasing both of my Holidays Around the World products in this Holidays Around the World Bundle!
