*A picture of a completed interactive notebook entry for each country/culture.
*A black and white version of each activity.
*I’ve include two options for some countries to keep the interactive notebooks flexible for all classroom needs. All countries come with one generic template where students can record what they learned, facts, important info, etc.
*There is a second version for most countries that requires students to apply reading skills and strategies from the Common Core Language Arts Standards for Informational Text. For instance, students may have to determine the text structure of the passage they were reading about that holiday or need to identify the point of view of the passage.

What About the Reading Passages
This product does NOT contain reading passages for holidays around the world. I’ve written them so they can be used with any text. That product includes three reading passages for each of the countries/cultures included in this pack, along with close reading questions and writing prompts.
